Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) – Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma

Following Deepika Padukone in Omkring Shanti Om, now, Anushka Sharma is the new Shah Rukh Khan heroine. Aditya Chopra is starting the 19-year-old Bangalore young lady for his comeback film Rab Ne Bana Pada Jodi. “We were looking first and foremost for someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab and we know we now have found her in Anushka, very well said Yash Chopra. “And while she has no previous acting experience, we certainly have seen that unique spark in her that makes us confident that the lady will be an outstanding even opposite Shah Rukh. ” 

After directing his second film, “Mohabbatein”, last 2000, Aditya had considered a conscious break from direction to set up and develop India’s first studio model making Yash Raj Films a name to reckon with. In the years that implemented, YRF, under the willing eye of Aditya, produced such blockbusters as Dhoom, Dhoom: 2, Hum Tum, Bunty Aur Babli, Salaam Namaste, Fanaa and Chak De India. While Aditya was the creative developer in all these motion pictures, he also kept up with his creative drinks by writing his daddy Yash Chopra’s directorial endeavor Veer-Zaara in 2004, as well as the testimonies of other films.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is the next film aimed by Aditya Chopra after eight years. His prior direction was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) and Mohabbatein (2000) in which Shahrukh Khan is at business lead role, and all perceives that both were ultra duper hit films.
